The milk pitcher is the most distinctive tool for microfoam and latte art. The spout shape determines how precisely you can direct the milk stream. The transition between base and wall determines how well the milk circulates while steaming. The weight determines how steady the pitcher feels in your hand. Coffee Coaching Club carries 84 milk pitchers in all the relevant sizes, materials and spout designs.
Three qualities define a good pitcher. First, the spout geometry: Sharp-Spout for the finest latte art lines (tulips, rosetta details), Round-Spout for classic Italian pouring. Second, the base weighting: heavy, stable bases (Motta Europa) allow calm steaming without the pitcher wobbling. Third, the volume: 0.35 L for cortado and single cappuccinos, 0.5 L as an all-rounder for cappuccino and flat white, 0.75 L for latte macchiato or several drinks at once.
Motta Europa line is the iconic standard, with its characteristic spout shape and heavy base. The Lady line is a more compact variant. Powder coating in several colours (black, white, red, orange, green) allows café colour-coding for different types of milk.
MHW-3BOMBER Pitchers in various spout designs and colour options. Premium finish at a more accessible price level.
Normcore Pitcher as an addition to the Normcore tool system. Classic and Sharp-Spout variants.
Loveramics Brewers Pitcher in several sizes and colours. Plus other standard café brands.

For the espresso machine: coffee machines collection. For external milk frothers (without a steam wand): milk frothers collection with the Subminimal NanoFoamer and Flair Wizard Steamer. For latte art pens: Motta Latte Art Pen. For cleaning milk systems: Urnex BioCaf Alkaline Milk Cleaner. For matching cups: Loveramics. For beans from our own roastery: CCC in-house roasts with Cozy Chocolate, Nutty Delight, Wild Peach, Bright Cassis – our medium-dark roasts pair particularly well with milk drinks.
For good microfoam: fill the pitcher no more than two-thirds full. Position the steam wand just below the milk surface and draw in a little air (stretching, 2–3 seconds), then insert the wand deeper and set the milk in rotation (texturing) up to around 60–65 °C. Pour the finished milk into the cup right away, while the espresso is still fresh. A clean steam wand after every use is essential for hygiene.
0.5 L is the most commonly chosen all-rounder size – it covers cappuccino, flat white and small lattes. For cortado-only setups: 0.35 L. For a latte macchiato focus: 0.75 L.
Sharp-Spout: the finest latte art lines, ideal for tulip and rosetta details. Round-Spout: classic Italian style, a more even stream for a classic cappuccino. For advanced latte art: Sharp-Spout. For café volume with a reliable crema layer: Round-Spout.
Stainless steel: dishwasher-safe, robust, a classic professional look. Coated: powder coating in colours, visually striking, ideal for café colour-coding with several types of milk, clean by hand.
Rinse immediately with warm water after every use. Clean more thoroughly every day. Soak regularly in Urnex BioCaf Alkaline to dissolve milk proteins.
