Mahlkönig 180 mm Carbide Burrs – DK27 LHM
The DK27 LHM is the carbide version of the DK27 for the standard grind range: these 180 mm burrs with a hardness of 75+ HRC are built for grinding capacities of up to 300 kg per hour, from espresso to French press.

What's the difference between carbide and special steel burrs on the DK27?
Mainly the service life: carbide lasts around 35 to 40 tons, the special steel version of the same grinder size around 10 to 15 tons. Grinding capacity and grind range stay comparable.
Does this burr also work for Turkish fine grinding?
This version is meant for the standard range from espresso to French press. For Turkish fine, we carry the same carbide quality with its own Turkish geometry.
